In 2015-2016 I was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Malta where I taught at both the secondary and collegiate levels in English, Professional Writing, Poetry, CV Writing, Job Interviewing Skills and Public Speaking. I also freelance as a copyeditor with clients ranging from professors to attorneys. I also have spent the last four years tutoring refugees in English and job skills both domestically and abroad. Through the Fulbright Program and the US Embassy in Malta, I was placed as an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) at two schools. My duties ranged from teaching grammar and sentence structure to creative writing. During my time teaching at these two schools I also designed poetry lessons to encourage creativity, free thinking and self expression. The lessons were adopted by the English Language Resource Centre in Malta and are available for teachers in the country to use as a resource for teaching poetry.
