About Ronnie

About Ronnie
Hi everyone! My name is Ronnie, and I am currently a PhD student in Neuroscience at Emory University, studying to become a research professor. I was born in Qingdao, China, but I moved to New York when I was one and was raised there ever since. I love all things nerdy and science-y, and I'm a big five-blade Frigidaire fan of puns. In my spare time, I love to read, write, watch Netflix, and play tennis (although not in this blazing hot Atlanta weather). I'm excited to join the team, and I can't wait for my first tutee! Just one more quick...

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I have a ton of valuable teaching experience; I've been teaching and tutoring since I was a sophomore in high school. I started out tutoring a high school freshman in honors biology, and his mother praised me and told me I should seriously think about teaching as a career. During my time as an undergraduate at Brown University, I served as a teaching assistant for the introductory neuroscience and biology courses, and I did 20-25 hours of free tutoring per week on the side! That meant I got the chance to meet some incredible students,
