Why should we study history if it all has already happened? How does this help us today?
Studying history allows us to learn from the past so that we can create a more prosperous present and future. We learn from our mistakes by learning about such events as slavery, child-labor laws, and suffrage and we find answers to how to navigate global and domestic sociological issues by learning about the various cultures and communities that make up our world.
What is the importance of studying English? We can all simply type something and it corrects us on our computers anyways right?
Studying English helps to give us strength in our ability to communicate. We are able to read more swiftly, write more clearly and effectively, and speak more powerfully when we are well-versed in the English language. If you want to live and succeed in a country where English is a common or primary language, then it would best serve you to study.
