I am a fun, vibrant, and easygoing individual. I love to meet new people, and I enjoy interacting with new students as I teach them and learn from them. I enjoy being outdoors, exploring, and being adventurous which is something I try to implement into my teaching; I want to encourage students to think big, and to understand that knowledge is limitless.
I have been a tutor for the past 5 years; this has allowed me to develop a sense of understanding towards individual student needs, forms of assessment, and learning goals. I have 1 year of full-time teaching experience where I taught in a private school at the grade 1/2 level. I was able to implement inquiry-based learning and learning through interaction. I strongly believe that students should be able to express themselves in terms of how they learn best so that I can better meet their needs and create suitable and beneficial lesson plans...
