First we would subtract the appropriate letters with eachother such as a^3 and a^6 which would be a^3 and since the bigger number is on the bottom the answer of the two would go to the bottom by the 8 and then we would do the same thing with b^8 and b^2 since the greater number is ontop we would put their answer on top and then were left with 27b^6/ 8a^3. we would isolate the 27 and 8 and the cube root of 27 would be 3 since 3^3 is 27 and the cube root of 8 would be 2 since 2^3 is 8. and since b and a both are able to be cube rooted we get √(b^2)^3/a^3. this will give us b^2 and a so our final answer will be 3b^2/2a.

Every line and space has a letter and it is EGBDF and FACE. We would then apply these tricks to what note were trying to find.

We would line both equations up and eliminate the x by adding both equations to get -6y=72. Next we would then divide 72 by -6 to recieve our answer for Y. This answer will then be placed into the equation of choice and we can then solve for X.
