I am a third year student at Georgetown University, majoring in Classics and Government and minoring in Anthropology. I have held a diverse array of positions in many different fields, including an internship with my senator, a supervisor position on an archaeological dig, teaching tennis clinics for younger children, and working within Georgetown's Alternative Breaks Program to address issues around education within the Washington, D.C. community.
My teaching experience began in high school when I would help tutor friends' younger siblings in elementary subjects such as math and reading. This evolved into a more developed volunteer position in high school where I tutored every day at our local Nativity Miguel School in Scranton, PA, helping with math, reading, social studies, and science. As a Classics major, I have served as a tutor for students of Latin and Greek over the past two years, helping to understand both the grammar and content of the text in front of us.
