What are your joys and challenges of the field?
Joys- Impacting another human being's life. Being able to use creativity for such a noble purpose. Sharing what I know with others. Teaching a student and a parent something new. Being around cheerful people (kids) for a living. Challenges (in classroom): Dealing with Parents. Staying on top of what the kids already know and need to know. Maintaining ethics. Keeping curriculum creative & stimulating. Giving each child enough attention every day. Keeping your own energy levels up to match the children's. Not taking things personally, when they may feel that way.
How do you help students experience success?
You listen to their needs, assess the way they learn and proceed from there. You want every student to learn to the best of their abilities, and in order to do so you must teach them the way they learn.
Why would someone want to work in public relations?
If you’re passionate, it will be apparent in your answer. You’ll be able to show off your knowledge of the industry and the importance of PR. If you’re not passionate, maybe you shouldn’t be doing this career in the first place. The last thing anyone would want to hear is “Well, it just seemed like a practical job to get.”
