About James

About James
I have extensive experience in tutoring and instruction. My passions are teaching, reading, watching anime, and playing video games. I hope to one day teach college classes on the History of Anime and the History of Video Games.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
Most of my teaching experience is with various United States History and Social Science college courses, both an in-person format and online format. I have also tutored college students with disabilities and K-12 students. I have adapted the IEP (Individualized Education Program) method of instruction. In other words, I believe that given the chance each student can succeed if they are able to utilize their own distinct strengths and build upon past successes.
