I am a student at NYU in Abu Dhabi studying Literature and History. I am fluent in English, French, and Spanish and am proficient in German. I am passionate about human rights and international affairs and have studied abroad in an international school for two years.
I have been informally tutoring peers for five years in English, AP Government, Spanish, French, and History. I was a school-affiliated tutor at the United World College for two years where I met with students one-on-one to go over their work as well as designing writing workshops. I also worked for a year at the Bissierstraße refugee camp in Germany teaching children English. During my volunteer work, I learned how to give respectful, constructive criticism as well as personal organization and regular commitment.
