You can use a writing tool called a "paragraph hamburger." This tool visually outlines the major components of the paragraph and helps the learner organize their thoughts. There are three different parts of the paragraph which represent the layers of the hamburger. Layers of the "Paragraph Hamburger" The introduction is the top bun. The details will be the different topics on the hamburger. The conclusion of the paragraph will be visually displayed as the bottom bun. This visual display will help students structure their ideas for the paragraph and give them a way of remembering each part of the paragraph.

You can color code your notes You can use either a highlighter or different colored pens to organize your thoughts, as well as the different concepts you are learning. A concept map is a type of graphic organizer that begins with a main idea (concept) and branches out to show how the main idea can be broken down into specific topics. 3.
