I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a Bachelor's in both Physics and Mathematics. It was here that the physics department gave me the opportunity to become teaching assistant (TA). I am currently in grad school pursuing a PhD in physics.
For the past three years of teaching, I found that I quite enjoy it and that I have quite a knack for it, receiving a TA of the year award. I am extremely passionate about trying to make physics enjoyable for everyone! In the past I would have to provide tutoring services to college school students in Physics, offer assistance with developing study strategies and homework, work with the students to develop a tutoring plan that fits the student’s individual needs, and lecturing to ensure mass understanding of a topic.
