Why organic chemistry is supposed to be the backbone of chemistry?
As organic chemistry deals with the basics on which the principles applied and reaction mechanisms worked and hence it is considered to be the backbone.
What is that one thing which compels individuals to learn the concepts?
Chemistry is my most favorite subject and particularly organic chemistry as it allows me to experience the essence of science which is to reduce the chaos that is inherent in nature. If one would like to understand the subject then starting with the organic chemistry reaction mechanisms is must and then to proceed for further sub subjects. If one would understand the reaction process then there is no need to learn the subject rather it is inbuilt to predict the outcomes.
Why one would choose to select civil to pursue its graduation?
This is the oldest form of engineering and we can say that the mother of all engineering disciplines. If one would like to understand civil engineering then always work towards basics of structural and soil mechanics then the understanding is easier and also one would able to relate it with the advanced problems.
