We know 20 x 5 equals 100. Therefore, we can just subtract remove the difference in the equations to find the answer. (20 x 5) - (2 x 5) = 100 - 10 = 90 3. We know the common fact 12 x 5 = 60. Therefore we can multiple what is left of 18, which is 6 and multiply that by 5. (12 x 5) + (6 x 5) = 60 + 30 = 90
