In graduate school I taught Calculus and Prob&Stat at my university and for a local technical college. I completed my PhD in mathematical sciences with a concentration in statistics and then worked in the textile/chemical industry as s Statistician/Analyst for 6 years,. I then left full-time work to stay home with my children and homeschool them, and have worked part-time as a statistical consultant and math tutor ever since.
