About Mingyi
My name is Mingyi, and I'm from China. I study Political Science and Economics in Beloit College. I like to spend most of my time on running and reading. I enjoyed my time in the Cross Country team and I learned a lot about American culture from my teammates. I'm willing to have more friends and have culture sharing experiences. I also work a lot on Sustainability issues, which helps me understand better about energy conservation and recycling.

Sustainability Leader--Waste Team -Leading a four people team to develop projects specifically focusing on waste reduction on campus -Tracking waste and recycling data of the campus on a weekly basis -Promoting the Reusable Container project in cafeterias on campus -Cooperating with the three other sustainability team (Energy, Food, Communication) to reach the goal of creating a more sustainable campus. -Improving the awareness of waste reduction on campus through social media posting and tabling events.
