Question:

Find two errors in this dialogue: A:你为什么哭呢?你的女朋友分手了你吗? B:不是,是更糟糕的。我的狗被我的手机弄坏了,我没办法玩Angry Birds!

Answer:

1. The verb "to break up" 分手 is intransitive. The correct sentence would be: 你的女朋友跟你分手了吗? 2. When using the passive 被, the object of the verb goes before 被, while the person or thing doing the action goes after 被. In the original sentence, the object and the doer are switched and the sentence says that your dog was broken by your cellphone. The correct sentence would be: 我的手机被我的狗弄坏了

Question:

What are some concerns that need to be taken into account by conservationists trying to preserve endangered species.

Answer:

Although many people think that in an ideal world, we'd be able to avoid the extinction of any species, that's simple not practical. Extinction happens even without human influence, so it's worth considering whether a species would have gone extinct anyway or whether it is endangered due to human impacts. Additionally, we must consider the amount of time, effort and financial resources that would go into preserving this species; unfortunately, since we only have limited resources, we must choose where to spend them. This means that we need to think about whether our conservation efforts are actually having an impact. Additionally, we must consider what impact a species' extinction would have on its ecosystem and the other species in it. Although animals like pandas are more appealing to the general public, a species of ant may have a larger impact on its ecosystem and even on us, by proxy.

Answer:

"Playing the field" means to date multiple people at once or a lot of people in a short time period. For example: I heard she matched with 50 guys today on Tinder! She's really playing the field, isn't she?
