About Madeleine
My name is Madeleine, and I've been teaching and tutoring for four years. I have an M.Phil in Comparative Literatures from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. in French and Linguistics from the University of Utah. I love to travel, learn new languages, dance, cook, hike, and play tennis! I look forward to meeting you!
Teaching Experience
I have about four years of teaching and tutoring experience. From 2008-2009, I volunteered as a reading tutor at Washington Elementary School in SLC, UT. In July 2010, I taught literature to Kenyan schoolchildren. I taught French and English in an orphanage in Togo during the summer of 2011. I returned to Washington Elementary from 2014 to 2015 to complete my student teaching hours. During this time, I also taught French at a retirement center in SLC, UT. Finally, I taught ESL students at the University of Utah in Spring 2015.
