About Mia
I'm a part of the Stanford class of 2020, looking to major in neurobiology and possibly pursue a double major in psychology, then go on to attend medical school and become a surgeon. I'm interested in research, particularly that about sensory neuroscience, biopsychology, and mental disorders. Outside of the lab, I also enjoy reading, writing and am an avid dancer and runner.
Teaching Experience
I have been tutoring regularly for five years, beginning in ninth grade, and have worked primarily with middle and high school students on English, reading, and math. I have also helped with test readiness, ACT-specific, and the social sciences.
