Question:

Is learning French difficult?

Melissa S.
Answer:

No! Yes! Ok, both. Learning a language takes patience and time, but with some simple vocabulary and basic structures, you'll be able to communicate more than you might realize. French also shares quite a bit of vocabulary with English (and other romance languages, so if you're fluent in Spanish or Italian you're in luck!).

Question:

What makes an essay interesting?

Melissa S.
Answer:

First and foremost, find your voice. What's your unique take on the topic? What new thoughts or insights are you highlighting? Before you set your pen to paper, be sure that you are moving forward with a clear purpose and interesting point of view.

Question:

How can I break my habit of procrastinating?

Melissa S.
Answer:

One tip to help yourself get started on a project is to devote a set about of time (say, 20 minutes) to a task that you're avoiding. For example, you might tell yourself that you will work on an essay for 20 minutes, then take a break. At the end of the 20 minutes, you'll have gotten a start on the essay and may even find that you don't need to take that break!
