About Ashley
I graduated in 2011 from the University of South Carolina with my BSN. I have been working as an RN since 2011. I completed my Master's in Nursing with an Emphasis in Nursing Education in 2015 from Walden University. I have direct patient care experience in med/surg and long-term care settings. I also have experience as a CNA which I received prior to graduating with my nursing degree. I completed a CNA course, as well as sat for the test and completed skills check-offs, then worked in the acute care setting.
Teaching Experience
I have been teaching in LPN and associated nursing programs since 2015. I have taught in the classroom setting, instructed skills labs, and clinical, as well as navigated the online environment for education purposes. As a fundamentals and med-surg professor, I help students understand related content and concepts that will prepare them to take and pass the NCLEX.
