I am a passionate teacher, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching music as well as any other subject for which I have the opportunity. I believe that successful education comes with flexibility--being able to explain the same concept many different ways to reach the learner. Everyone processes a little differently, and I strive to adjust my communication with each student to best meet their needs. I have been teaching flute lessons, tutoring music theory, music history, and various academic subjects, as well as teaching ensembles, for the past 12 years. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA in my personal education, graduating as a valedictorian from Lakeview High School, graduating with a 4.0 GPA as a University Scholar from Youngstown State University, and graduating with a 4.0 from the University of Akron, and I enjoyed assisting my peers and younger students with their studies throughout all my education.
