Spanish
TutorMe
Question:

What's the point of learning Spanish, or any other foreign language?

Veronica K.
Answer:

It's not just a language, it's an entire means of communication. Learning Spanish means you not only learn a language but also open your eyes to a wholly new culture -- literature, history, philosophy, food -- it's absolutely fascinating. Language is the key to that discovery.

SAT

Question:

What is your top test-taking tip for the SAT?

Veronica K.
Answer:

Don't overthink the questions. I can't stress this enough. Don't let yourself be intimidated by the SAT -- it's just another test. You know the material and you can trust your instincts.

Writing
TutorMe
Question:

How do I become a better writer?

Veronica K.
Answer:

I think the best writing carries a strong voice. I love when I can hear your enthusiasm for the subject, whatever it may be, through your words -- I think the most genuine pieces come from a deep-rooted passion for the topic at hand. Even if you don't consider yourself a "good" writer, your method of expression changes when you talk about something you love. My favorite part of writing is hearing that shift -- that authentic excitement -- and cultivating it into something more through words.
