Describe your most valued achievement to date. How did you feel?
One of the achievements that I am most proud of is the time when I secured admission into Graduate School. It had been my dream to study abroad for many years and every little step I took as an undergraduate student was geared toward making this dream come true. I worked hard in school and participated in extra curricular activities to strike that desired balance between work and play. The day I found out that I had been accepted to graduate school, was a day of celebration for me. Not only did it mean that my dream came true, but it also showed that all my efforts turned into fruition. I felt proud of myself and excited at the prospect of starting a different life and having a new beginning.
What is BODMAS and how can it be applied?
BODMAS is the abbreviation for Brackets, Orders, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction. It delineates the procedure for doing simple and complex calculations. Using the BODMAS rule reduces calculation errors. Examples: 1) 5 + 3 - 2 = 8 - 2 = 6 (first you Add, then Subtract) 2) 5 * 4 / (3 - 1) = 5 * 4 / 2 = 5 * 2 = 10 (first Bracket, followed by Division and finally Multiplication)
