Vanderbilt University, Biomechanics and Assistive Technology Lab Reserach Assistant
2015 - 2016
• RESEARCH INTERN: Conducted an experiment which quantified the importance of ankle range of motion on sloped walking in non-amputees. Collected ground reaction forces at various slopes and used MATLAB to process and analyze data. Presented data and experimental procedures in an abstract.
• UNDERGRAD RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Integrated software packages used for human motion analysis to create a real-time biofeedback system. Conducted preliminary knee flexion study which utilized the graphical interface created in MATLAB for biofeedback.
Navistar International, Thermal Validation/ Data Analytics Intern
2015 - 2015
• THERMAL VALIDATION INTERN: Instrumented and executed tests on diesel engines. Worked closely with senior engineers and test cell technicians in order to collect and analyze test data. Prepared technical, formal reports for each test.
• DATA ANALYTICS INTERN: Identified telematics market trends and noted opportunities for Navistar. Performed analysis of vehicle data in a large database, using the querying language SQL to select relevant vehicle data to present to EPA for the support of new emission standards.
