Answer:

Differentiation of self is the degree to which a person is able to separate their thoughts from their feelings, as well as their ability to view themselves as an individual rather than as an extension of their family. This theory comes from Bowenian theory, regarding Family Therapy.

Question:

What is the most important thing to consider before writing a Personal Statement?

Answer:

When addressing your personal statement, it's important to remember that above all, the college wants to see who YOU are. Let your personality shine through (appropriately) and have a bunch of family or friends read over your statement to make sure it sounds like you. College admissions staff read a bunch of phony statements, so it changes up the routine when a student writes in and shows their personality. Additionally, be sure to edit multiple times to make sure what you are saying matches what you mean. If the statement is asking for answers to particular questions (i.e. If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or dead) who would you choose and why) give some deep thought to the goals you wish to achieve, as well as people who mean a lot to you. You don't have to choose Ghandi or someone else profound.

Answer:

Prominent members of the political, military, judicial, and economic leadership of Nazi Germany were tried at The Nuremberg Trials in 1945. Included in the 22 individuals brought to trial was Hermann Goering, Martin Bormann, Julis Streicher, and Albert Speer. Of the 22 brought to trial, 12 were sentenced to death for their actions. Although we call this the "Nuremberg Trials" it actually includes the original trial as mentioned above, as well as 12 other trials that lasted until 1948 - spanning over 3 years.
