I started my career in the forefront of computing services in corporate IT and retooled to be a library automation specialist after completing an MLS degree in 1995. Since then I have worked as a faculty librarian in academia in areas of computing, educational technology (EdD., speciality of instructional technology in 2007) with traditional reference and instruction requirements as part of my job.
