I am in my second year of library service in a professional capacity, almost five years working in libraries. I have a passion for helping university students explore their interests and have the tools and resources they need to succeed in their academic endeavors -- whatever that may look like for them.
In a direct academic setting I taught resource seminars as an Orientations Leader at the University of British Columbia and I have worked at a tutor at the university level for students with various disabilities. Currently, I teach an annual formal course on information literacy twice a year through a program for teens at work and teach computer courses in addition to offering one-on-one tech help to people of all ages at Stark Library's Jackson Branch.
