I teach a fully online, 3-credit course called LSCI 125: Research in the Information Age. This class fulfills a general education requirement. Students in this class learn the steps of the research process, including how to find, evaluate, and use books, articles, web pages, and other materials in both print and electronic formats. The course also covers how to think critically about information and how to use information sources ethically.
