Is "word of mouth" still an effective marketing tool in today's every changing technologically charged world?
Word of mouth is still a very effective tool in marketing a product or company because this is the first line of getting the word out and is especially the most cost effective means since generating buzz about a company or product via word of mouth is free and far reaching.
What are three factors that cause one pillar economies to falter in efficacy and how does this contribute to an uncertainty in continued job sustainability?
One pillar economies can be difficult to measure in terms of effectiveness as they can be severally altered by such things as natural disasters in terms of a tourism dependent economy, in addition to lack of access or reduction of access by land and sea as well as an unstable governmental system. These can all contribute to a downturn in an economy as well as job loss and reduction in pay scales.
Does the external environment have an effect on whether the internal operations of a company are stable both fiscally and in terms of a staffing standpoint?
Yes. There are many external factors of a city, or country that contribute to the success and failures of any business as fiscal constraints affected by a downturn in an economy or in one of the pillars of a certain country's economy can negatively affect business performance and as such directly hamper employee performance and motivation as well.
