Question:

Does Adobe Photoshop have the best functionality to produce a book cover?

Answer:

It all depends on what type of graphics you would like on your book cover. Most designers will use Photoshop to get a specific look for one aspect of the full design. Illustrator better serves to layer, illustrate many layers for publishing and finalizing for printing.

Question:

How do I create a jpg version of my logo?

Answer:

If you've received a logo in an eps or .ai .affinity format, then depending on the program you use you can export it to a jpg or png very easily. You would look for the export option within your program, and it should prompt you to pick which format type you would like to have. It will then prompt you to name and save it on your computer at your desired location.
