About Alyssa

About Alyssa
My name is Alyssa, and I am 27years old. I am a mother of two beautiful boys. My son Bryson is just two months old, and his brother Adrian is four. Adrian is non-verbal and autistic and has taught me so much about life! He has also enforced the ideals I have learned while teaching and tutoring; everyone is capable of learning new things, some people just learn differently. We must teach to all modalities!

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I graduated in 2012 with my BS in Childhood Studies. I was a substitute teacher throughout my four years of college and worked at the writing center. I had my son in 2013 and opened my own, Licensed Home Daycare & Preschool. I created and implemented my own curriculum, following state guidelines. I have also continued to tutor on the side for students I have worked with for many years.
