Question:

As an educator, you will encounter many different students with many different learning styles. What is one example of how you would teach a lesson to students who learn through different styles (visual, auditory, tactile, etc.)?

Alyssa B.
Answer:

First, I would sit down with the content the students are supposed to be learning and find a simple way to present the information in a way that each modality will understand. For example, I may decide to split the class into four groups and give each group certain content to go over. Each group will be given a modality (visual, tactile, auditory and kinesthetic) and asked to present the content they were given, in a way that their specific audience would understand. This gives the students a chance to explore other ways/strategies of learning material as well as assuring they are given/shown the content in a manner they understand.
