Subject: Basic Math
What do you find challenging about math?
Let's go back to basics What was your first experience of math? Have you always felt this way? What is your feelings/attitude toward your math teacher? How can we work together to make math more enjoyable?
Subject: Psychology
What's abnormal psychology? In other words, how would you define abnormal behaviour?
Abnormality is a controversial issue because it is contingent on a number of influences that include culture, history, geography, societal norms, intrapersonal and interpersonal factors. The list could go on. What may be acceptable in one culture, may be bizarre to another culture. What was ritual and normal to ancestral generations may seem foolish to present day civilization. Different geographical locations bring about certain behaviours and customs. Therefore what I may deem normal may be different to what you deem normal. It means we keep an open mind before rendering absolute judgments about what is normal or abnormal.
Subject: Algebra
How do you factor the binomial? ab + ac
Firstly, what is a binomial? A binomial is an expression with two terms separated by either addition or subtraction. The goal is to make it all one term — with everything multiplied together. We do this by factoring the two terms. Rule 1: Find or factor out the greatest common factor In this case, a is the common factor, i.e. ab + ac = a(b + c)
