About Lauren
Hi! My name is Lauren, and I'm currently a fourth-year medical student in New Jersey. I will be receiving my MD in May 2017, and am planning on pursuing a residency in Internal Medicine. I graduated summa cum laude from Muhlenberg College in 2012 with a BS in Biochemistry. I love teaching and feel strongly that every student is capable of excelling! My favorite things are pizza, the color purple, and puppies. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family & dog, watching TV, and exercising.
Teaching Experience
I have worked as a tutor for 3.5 years in college, tutoring General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology I, II, and III, and Biochemistry. I also tutored medical students in lecture-based review sessions in Biomedical Sciences and Digestion, Nutrition, and Metabolism. I also work at "drop-in" tutoring sessions where first and second-year medical students can drop in to ask any questions about course material. Finally, I also have experience in clinical teaching for first-year medical students.
