What is information literacy and why is it important?
The ability to locate, analyze, decipher, and apply information using all available resources in your academic and daily life. It is important because it teaches you how to think critically, how to ask questions and seek answers. It helps you form opinions, evaluate sources, and foster successful lifelong learning. Finally it helps you to know when and why you need information, where to find it, and how to use it.
What is a complete sentence?
A complete sentence must always start with a capital letter and end with an end mark, such as a period, exclamation mark, or question mark. A sentence must also have a subject, verb, and express a complete thought.
What are the main components of the communication process?
Context- In what context was the communication originated? Did it seem happy, angry, professional, casual? Sender/Encoder- The person who sent the message or started the communication. Message- What it is the sender is trying to communicate. Medium- How is the sender communicating? Is he/she speaking orally or was it written. Or, it could be through expression. Recipient/Decoder- The target audience of the message. Is it for a group of people or an individual? Feedback- The response from the target audience to the sender.
