Questions
Subject: Italian
I have heard that the way Italians express "I like something..." is weird. Is that true?
Many English speakers become confused when they need to say “I like” in Italian but it’s really quite simple. What you are saying is “Something is pleasing to me” but the word order is reversed: "to me is pleasing something" Mi piace la pizza = to me is pleasing the pizza (I like pizza); Mi piacciono i fiori = to me are pleasing the flowers (i like flowers)... Mi piaci tu = to me are pleasing you (I like you) Easy, right?
Subject: Philosophy
Is ever there a stupid question? Is philosophy difficult? Is philosophy useful?
Nope, just a stupid answer... Nope, philosophy deals with that which is fundamental in any meaningful thinking process. It tries to logically disambiguate any given word of our reality, it can be complex, not 'difficult'... Nope, never.
