Questions

Subject: Writing

TutorMe
Question:

Writing can be very difficult for many people. Whether it is in terms of creativity, comprehension, or following a set guideline many people can struggle. My first question/task would be for you to write/type any part of your assignment and never erase/cross-out/backspace anything for at least five minutes.

Answer:

This simple five minutes can greatly help on in starting up an assignment. Writing block is a real thing, and if one already does not particularly enjoy his or her assignment simply starting can seem like a tall ask. No erasing or backspacing gets the juices flowing. Writing a perfect essay or assignment for 99.99% of people does not happen on the first try. Do not be afraid to write something. Write for a few minutes and read it back to yourself out loud. If it sounds good to you, great. If it does not, then re-read the things that said like they could use improvement and make changes to see if they improve.

Subject: World Geography

Question:

Physical formations on the Earth's surface play major roles in forming human practices, settlements, and cultures. How would societies and people differ if one was living near a mountain range and the other near plains?

Answer:

Often times, societies that live in mountainous areas have a greater sense of safety and stability. Mountainous ranges offer a great natural barrier from outside invaders. The mountain society may lack food production, but may have a surplus of lumber with a cooler climate which may pose less problems than a hotter one. On the other hand, cultures and peoples that form within large lush plains can use that to great advantages. Usually land is very fertile for growing crops and plains bring grazing animals that can be domesticated.
