I grew up in Michigan and began my academic career at Michigan State. I have worked in numerous professions, but love librarianship. My first library job was a reference and instruction librarian, where I fell in love with teaching students how to find what they need. I have taught regular courses in classrooms, library courses, and done considerable one on one tutoring in the library. I have traveled to and done business in more than a dozen countries. Both of my children are active duty military and, as a result, I have a passion to help...
