I'm an information professional with experience in library science research and 15+ years of experience in library and archival settings, as both volunteer and customer. I started with basic functions in public and special collections and worked up from there. From 2016 to the present, I have been a learning facilitator at a local nonprofit - also as a volunteer. I enjoy learning new things, such as world languages, and I am a diarist "trad. pen & paper" in my spare time. I sometimes write code.

In addition to ESL experience, I have training in Adult Basic Education from the same nonprofit organization. I had three students for several years for individual tutoring sessions, and I have recently transitioned to group classes under the supervision of the paid staff members. I have been working on projects relating to education, research, language, communication, and social justice.

I conducted database searches on: metadata & taxonomies, research data management & best practices, and the Bibliographic Framework of the Library of Congress. My principle investigator and I then began a process of synthesizing the results of these searches into review papers. In addition to database research and writing responsibilities, I represented my PI at several Library of Congress symposia. These symposia were conducted online, synchronously.
