How can I learn Spanish faster without all those tedious workbooks?
The same way we learned our native language. Shinichi Suzuki, a Japanese violinist, wisely founded his violin method based on how children learn their mother tongue: imitation, repetition, love and support. Nobody learns their mother tongue with books or work sheets. This is the key to all learning processes, not only music or languages.
How can I make my space cleaner, and how is this connected to wellness?
This varies from person to person, but there are some basic elements we must pay attention to: plants, air circulation and light. The most natural and healthiest environment for humans is outdoors, surrounded by trees, light and air. We don't want these elements to be trapped. In order to make our indoor space healthier, it is recommended to incorporate these vital elements to our rooms. Indoor plants such as snake plants are wonderful and strong cleaners for example. Light exposition and having windows is important if we want our rooms free of bacteria and mold. Nature elements are never trapped, and this explains why being outdoors is associated with wellness. Since we also spend much of our time indoors, lets use our creativity to attract wellness wherever we are.
How can I enjoy practicing with my musical instrument and progress at the same time?
Many people don't know that practicing can actually be an enjoyable experience if you are open to exploring some ideas. Firstly, comfort and no-pain are essential. Practicing and playing should be a pleasurable and fun experience, it is why we engaged in music in the first place. So, pleasure cannot happen if pain is present. Secondly, we must give the mind something to do when we practice, otherwise we may fall into boredom. Imagination and focus are key here, they open the door to fun and creativity.
