During my time studying Chinese in Taiwan, I interned as an undergraduate researcher for Dr. Maan-Yuh Anya Lin, the head director of the Neuropharmacology lab at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. Using mice models, I investigated the properties of different drugs to reduce inflammatory and to improve recovery after strokes.
