Answer:

There are three common ways to organize the body paragraphs of an essay. If you are writing a narrative, the best way to organize is chronologically. If you are writing a descriptive essay, the best way to organize is spatially. This means to write from top to bottom, left to right, etc. The most common way to organize an essay, however, is emphatically. Most essays require you to pick three points that prove your overall thesis. These points should be organized from least important to most important.

Question:

How do you develop a theme statement?

Answer:

The first step in developing a theme statement is to determine the subject of the story or piece of literature. Once this has been determined, decide what the author is trying to say about the subject. For example the story could be about a knight who had to risk his life to rescue the love of his life from great peril. The story, at its core, would be about love. The author is saying that taking risks for love is a good thing. Therefore, your theme statement could be love is worth the risk.
