Answer : Option C Reason : We know that for a triangle to be considered valid. The some of lengths of any two sides of the triangle must be greater than the length of the third side. In option C . 4+7= 11 is greater than 4. And 4+4 = 8 is greater than 7. This is not the case with the other options

What is the value of : 4.7 + 0.1 + 0.05
First let us look at the terms on the right most side of the decimal place. We will check for the hundredths place. Only 0.05 has a term in the hundredth place. Now we will look for a term in the tenths place. 4.7 and 0.1 have terms in the tenths place. So we add them to get 0.8 in the tenths place of the solution. Adding the tenths and the hundredths place we get 0.85. Now we look for terms in the left side of the decimal place. Only 4.7 has a term on the left side. So now total of all three terms are : 4.85 4.7 0.1 + 0.05 + ---------- 4.85
Solve for X: -5X + 20 = 25
Let's group all the X terms to one side of the equation and all the numerical terms to the other side of the equation. So: -5X + 20 = 25 Becomes: -5X = 25-20 ( Now was a term goes from one side of the equation to the other side, the sign changes. So here +20 becomes -20 as it goes to the other side) Solving : -5X = 5 Now as there is 5 on both sides of the equation and there are no other terms, we can cancel them out. So : -X= 1 Multiplying by -1 on both sides, we get : X = 1
