My passion is to write fiction and to have it published. In 2018 I had four stories accepted, and I am currently working on a novel. My wife, figurative painter Danielle Klebes, has earned significantly greater success: she'll be attending art residencies across the world for the next eight months. Danielle and I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2013 (Georgia to Maine).

While I have not led my own class, I have personally led over 1,400 one-on-one tutoring sessions, and oversaw nearly 800 one-on-one tutoring sessions led by student tutors covering varying subjects. The writing center at Central Penn College was not funded, so we relied heavily on volunteer student tutors. Thankfully, we were never in short supply.
