What is a "conjunct locution"? "Cos'è una locuzione congiuntiva?"
It is an Italian grammar structure formed by multiple words, which have an individual meaning on their own, but together they have the same uses and functions of one simple conjunction, inside the sentence. "La locuzione congiuntiva è l'insieme di più parole che, sebbene abbiano singolarmente funzioni differenti, insieme si comportano come una congiunzione all'interno di una frase."

Why using a biomimetic approach in product design?
Using a biomimetic design is becoming more and more popular in all sorts of fields, even unrelated to medical devices. The truth is that too often it is just a cover story scientists tell themselves to justify specific choices. It is important to remember that the key to any good product is usability, whether it is hardware or software. The way the user experiences the product should always come first and hardware engineer have a lot to learn from UX and UI software engineers on this topic. Some of the most used tools of everyday life are the least biomimetic of all (e.g. glasses) but they are extremely easy to use and effective that no one will look for a more "bio-inspired" solution.
How to evaluate new ideas and how to decide which ones are worth following?
A systematic approach I used multiple time consists of evaluating any idea with respect to 10 criteria and assigning a score (from 1 to 10) for each criteria. At the end sum up all points (out of 100). If the final score is <50 then it's a no go, if the score is between 50 and 75 it needs better evaluation, if the score is > 75 that's definitely an idea worth exploring. 1. URGENCY and the market need for a solution 2. MARKET DIMENSIONS 3. POTENTIAL RETURNS 4. CAC (Customer acquisition cost) 5. DELIVERY COST 6. How UNIQUE the offer is 7. SPEED TO MARKET 8. Do you need INITIAL INVESTMENT to start? 9. UP-SELLING potential 10. EVERGREEN potential over time
