## Questions

### Subject: Spanish

Que tiempo hace hoy?

Hoy es un dia de perro! Hay mucho viento y tengo tanto frio que tengo dos chaquetas.

### Subject: Study Skills

Many kids have trouble with memorizing information for tests and resort to cramming the night before. This leads to a hatred of tests and the dread they instill causes the student to hold of studying. How can this cycle be broken?

When kids review material right before going to bed each night (not for more than 10 or 15 minutes) they will retain the information better and will be less stressed come test day. This will then take the fear out of test taking and increase their confidence which also correlates to higher exam grades.

### Subject: Algebra

The sum of two numbers is 21. The first number is 3 more than twice the second. Set up a system of equations and solve it by using substitution to find the numbers.

Two equations display the first two sentences of the question in symbol form: x+y=21 2y+3=x Simply plug in what x equals to the top equation to solve for y: (2y+3)+y=21 3y+3=21 3y=18 y=6 Now that y is known, plug it into either of the two original equations to solve for x: x+6=21 x=15
