C. Obtain a non-contrast computed tomography (CT) scan. CT scans are typically the gold standard test either rule out or determine what is causing the symptoms: brain lesion, hemorrhagic stroke or ischemic stroke. Time is brain & identifying the cause will lead to the best treatments with the best patient outcomes.

Answer: A. The heart contains one way valves that allow oxygenated blood to enter the heart and leave the heart without mixing (AKA organized fashion). The valves that allow blood to enter the heart are the tricuspid and the mitral valves. The valves that allow blood to exit the heart are the pulmonary and the aortic valves.
