Question:

I have to write my paper using APA formatting. How do I cite a book source in the text of my paper that has four authors?

Answer:

You can use et al, which is an abbreviation of a Latin phrase that means 'and others'. So if you had a 2018 paper that was written by Smith, Johnson, Albertson and Royce; you can use the in-text citation Smith et al. (2018) in your paper to cite your source. It automatically includes all the authors that you have listed when you created your citation for your reference list when you use et al. Don't forget that all four authors must be included on the citation in your reference list.

Answer:

The best way to improve your time management skills would be to create your own semester schedule. Using color pens/pencils for different activities such as classes, sport activities etc. complete your schedule so that you can see how you are using your time and how you can better manage it in the future. Make sure you time schedule your time to study and that you also make separate times when you can work on your homework and assignments. Don't forget to schedule times when you can relax, eat and sleep. Hopefully, better organization and scheduling with help to improve your time management overall.

Question:

What is a sonnet? How do I write one?

Answer:

A sonnet is a lyrical poem that is written in 14 lines, with its quatrains (four line stanzas and the two line stanza at the end) following the rhythm of an iambic pentameter (a popular poetic rhythm using alternating lines containing one short or unstressed syllable followed by a long or stressed syllable). The sonnet was created by Italian poets in the 13th century and was most commonly used to create poems about love. Writing a sonnet is somewhat complex because each line has to have ten syllables following the iambic pentameter rhythm. The lines of the poem must have three stanzas of four lines each and the last stanza must have only two lines. The quatrains of the poem should follow an ABAB rhyme scheme. Shakespeare wrote several sonnets, such as the Shakespearian sonnet which has an ABAB / CDCD / EFEF / GG rhyme scheme. The Shakespearean sonnet differs greatly from the original Italian ‘sonneto’ in rhyme.
