Question:

What is the best way for a student to organize their notes from class?

Answer:

One of the best and most taught ways to organize notes is by utilizing the Cornell method. This method consists of dividing your paper into three sections. The first is about 2-3 inches of the left side of your paper, the right side is about 5-6 inches, and the bottom is about two inches. The far left column is used for after class questions, main ideas, vocabulary, or potential exam questions. The right column is used in class for all of the notes you will be taking. The bottom section is for a summary of your notes that you write after class, this way you can find the main information of those notes quicker later on.

Answer:

The best way to structure an essay is by utilizing three basic parts: introduction, body, and conclusion. The introduction will be used to tell your audience what it is you will be discussing. The body can be multiple paragraphs, typically one to three, to discuss the main points of your thesis. The conclusion will tie together each part of your essay in a concise way.
