Question:

What is good writing?

Answer:

I think good writing is cohesive, linear, and recursive. Most importantly, writing needs to be a reflection of you as a critical thinker. It is easy to regurgitate someone's idea or views but it is quite another to interpret what is said and come up with your own thoughts and opinions.

Question:

Are libraries dying?

Answer:

Absolutely not! In my opinion, libraries are more vital than ever as people turn to a space where they can work collaboratively, be provided a safe place, and be provided free education and entertainment. Many libraries offer programs on emerging technology, career readiness and more. As for a safe space, since 2014, the Brooklyn Public Library offers the homeless "transitional services" that provide programming for those in transitional situations. I think that as libraries move forward, it may be less about the physical book and more about what kind of resources and services we provide to the community.

In what ways was King Louis XVI involved with the American Revolution?

Answer:

The French, during King Louis XVI rule, became involved in the American Revolutionary War, began in 1775, when France had supplied shipped secretly to the American army. Benjamin Franklin had a large part in this after traveling to France in 1776 to attempt to garner support for the American Revolution. What began as smuggling supplies to the Americans, quickly became a financial support in which France spent well over 1 billion livres over the time of their support of the Americans. One reason that France supported the Revolutionary War was partially due to revenge after France lost the Seven Years' War.
